Check Memory configuration in Windows

Click Start

type "Command Prompt"

Right Click, Run as Administrator

VirtualBox Guest running extremely slow (Turtle Icon) - Enable VT-X

 Virtualbox guest is running extremely slow in Windows with a turtle in the status bar like this


VirtualBox black or blank screen issues Ubuntu/Linux Mint ...

  1. Enable Virtualization (VTx) in the BIOS
  2. Open "Turn Windows Features On and Off" and disable the following
    1.  Hyper-V
    2. Virtual Machine Platform
    3. Windows Hypervisor Platform
    4. Windows Sandbox

    5.  
  3. Reboot
  4. Check Intel Processor Identification utility


  5.  Check msinfo32.exe

 

Check VirtualBox setting "Enable Nested VT-x/AMD-V".  If it is not greyed out, then its fine.

 


Once done, Virtualbox Guest should look like this
